Nietzschean Superman and the Mahabharata's Karna

This book examines various layers of similarities between the ideas of Nietzsche and the Mahabharata on elevating human race with special reference to the Nietzschean Superman and the character Karna In the Hindu epic the Mahabharata. It takes an odyssey into the metaphysics, literature, ethics and the theo-politics of both Nietzsche and the Mahabharata. It compares the values borne by the Mahabharata's Karna and the Nietzschean Superman, and shows Karna in the light of the characters of the Nietzschean Superman forwarded by Nietzsche dispersedly in his various books, notebooks and letters. The comparative study reveals a number of similarities between the two different visions of mankind of two different ages and two different regions. The study reveals that all the characters of the Nietzschean Superman meet in the character Karna, making him the Nietzschean Superman in the Mahabharata.
