This might be overzealous and overly-optimistic but I think it’s safe to say...this is a book you need! We all need a break, and sometimes even the world of entertainment fails in offering us an effective escape. This might be a bit pessimistic, but I also think it’s pretty safe to say that we live in a world of bad news and constant disappointment. Perhaps some of us even live in a “world of shit”, as so eloquently coined by “Pyle” in “Full Metal Jacket”. Even if your life is better than most, it’s impossible to argue that we’re all not mercilessly inundated with disturbing news. This piece of literary magic can help. Immerse yourself in the ramblings and with very little effort or thought, *allow* the words to entertain you. Read about Potsie Weber and find out why he’s such an amazing fantasy. Read about Martha Stewart’s never-dying allure. Read and learn which foods, words and phrases and tv shows and movies are the most annoying, and which are the most beautiful and stimulating and why. We all deserve a break. Read a few words each day and let the non-sensical flow help dictate your level of happiness and overall focus. Life’s dark nature doesn’t have to rule. Laugh and enjoy the absurdity of “Murder and Sausage”.
