With a few hundred dollars and a one-way train ticket, Nicholas Swift attempts to escape the childhood memories that plague him by leaving his small New England town behind and venturing toward the siren's call of Atlanta, Georgia. While navigating through trappings of distrust and webs of deceit, Nicholas once again finds himself seeking solace in the arms of various women.
