Moby the Flea

In his epic novel Moby Dick, Herman Melville advises writers: "To produce a mighty book, you must choose a mighty theme. No great and enduring volume can ever be written on the flea, though many there be who have tried it."

In this take on the classic novel, told with great attention to Melville's unique means of expression, Dr. Ahab the veterinarian falls victim to a vicious monster named Moby. Half-mad and half-blind, he ensnares his workers into a quest for vengeance they cannot resist. Kevin, one of these unlucky workers, with his new dog and armed with curiosity, finds himself in a strange new world.
