Missouri Waltz: A Novel of 1917

Set during the Great War, Bob Danby, home from the front line, is posted back to England in order to train as an air gunner with the Royal Flying Corps. He meets and falls in love with a beautiful young widow, Emma Cummins. Their turbulent affair struggles to survive misunderstandings, jealousy and the terrible perils that Bob has to face. The story moves from the backstreets of Gillingham in Kent, to London's theatre land and to deadly aerial combat high up over the trenches of the Western Front. Will their relationship survive the pressures that the war has created and can he return unscathed from the dangers of war flying? Will there be a happy ending as Bob and Emma face the perils and turmoil of 1917?
