Mesquite Creek Ranch Part 1

Step inside Mesquite Creek Ranch, an idyllic setting where four Texas kids in the 1950's mature into young adults through their various trials and adventures. Wes Redmond, a shy eight-year-old arrives at the ranch looking for a forever home. He meets a few friends that will forever change his life. In this community, children are raised (mostly) in peace and safety. They grow up where good people face life's tragedies and triumphs with faith in God and commitment to each other. There's good and bad, excitement, great joys, and times of even deep sorrow. The reader will come to love Wes and friends as they explore the perilous path of puberty and grow into young adults. The story peeks into family problems and shows how the parents cope, and how by example they teach the children right from wrong.The folks at the ranch become a "family" under the watchful eyes of the wealthy patriarchs, Mr. and Mrs. McCleary.
