Human being is a life-long student. However, he has to discontinue his formal education after some specific period. To continue education, the books can be considered as teachers. To get books by one and all there is only one agency i.e. public library. In the modern society researchers, teachers and student are endeavoring to enhance their goals in various discipline, there fore, research is holding a key position in today's life. Marketing as an aspect is an intelligent work. It's interesting to know the general public library development with in the i.e. an historical review. It was also of concern to know how the public libraries market their products information in the modern growing completion form other profit making libraries. So also what type of services offered by the libraries to the users to continue their life long education. Another aspect of researcher interest was to know the fact that of the 32 (Thirty two) total public libraries in Aurangabad. The problem of the use of services and marketing the libraries have been tacked in two complimentary ways by finding out from librarians and by asking users partly converted in chapters attempt to fulfill these objectives.
