Malaria is the queen of diseases disturbing world population and economy.The malaria parasite breeds in stagnant water pools, accumulated rain water places. The Malaria has been a main health hazard of India for centuries.Tribal population always suffered from diseases like malaria. There is a need to study the environment and malaria patterns in tribal areas.In Betul-Chhindwara region tribal population is 37.05 percent while in the state it is 20.27 percent. Hence Betul- Chhindwara region is declared as tribal region and Gond, Korku and Bharia are important tribes of study area . This book is based on the various segments of tribal population, living conditions, housing etc. that play an important role in the malaria incidence.
