Lullaby for Leo

Lisa Partainian is a reporter for the Birmingham Gazette. When a premeditated car crash ends her mother's life, Lisa returns to her childhood home in Atlanta and discovers a cache of forty-year-old love letters tucked inside a wooden memory chest. The documents contained in her mom's safe deposit box reveal the details of a romance gone wrong and casts Leo Miller, a battle-scarred Vietnam veteran, as the biological father she never knew existed.
Who is this man, and is he still alive? The investigative journalist is determined to find out. Complicating matters, her mom's irrational killer escapes from custody and marks Lisa and her boyfriend for death.
