Little House Near the Desert

The name of this book is inspired by "Little House on the Prairie" by Laura Ingalls Wilder, which the famous historical US TV series is based. She wrote about life growing up in early rural America. Even though the events happened in different conditions and circumstances, there seem many similarities in the behavior of the people. This book is a not so distant history written from eyes of a child. I hope this book can make a small contribution to understanding and peace among cultures seemingly far apart but in reality very close.
