This is a single volume reference on leucocyte surface antigens, with details on 41 CD antigens newly defined in the late 1990s, and summaries of recent research on all known CD anitgens, collated at the Sixth International Workshop and Conference on Human Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens. It should be of use to medical libraries and departments of immunology and hematology. New features to this edition include: summary of diagrams for each CD antigens showing at a glance the main features of structure, function, tissue distribution, and the chromosomal location of the gene; separate CD guide in numerical order summarizing key features of each antigen to provide reference on the structure and function of each molecule, with clinical and practical applications; and an antibody appendix (reinstated from the IVth volume), with antibodies listed by: donar, clone name, and blind panel code.
