Leroy Shane

He came from Ohio to bring much needed joy to the "Med City," Rochester, Minnesota, home of the world famous Mayo Clinic. But he was much more than a mere 1940's novelty store proprietor. He was a visionary. Shane introduced the first frozen diet dinner, proposed the first gas station mini-mart, and was the first to license the Slinky patent. But more than anything, he was The Shepherd of the Sand Hills and the life of the party.
