Atara Sivan, PhD, is Associate Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Professor in the Department of Education Studies, Hong Kong Baptist University. She is author of three books on leisure education and President and Senior Fellow of the World Leisure Academy. She is also the Editor-in-chief of the World Leisure Journal.Robert A. Stebbins, PhD, FRSC, is Faculty Professor and Professor Emeritus at the University of Calgary. He is the author of The Idea of Leisure: First Principles; Work and Leisure in the Middle East; and Serious Leisure. Stebbins is an elected fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
