Kalpana Chakma is a human documents on the persecution of the Indigenous People of Chittagong Hill Tracts in Bangladesh. For more then two decades, the Indigenous People of Chittagong Hill Tracts, have been fighting for their rights. Many Indigenous People have been killed, wounded and their women raped by the Bangladesh Army and settler Muslims from other parts of the country. Kalpana Chakma is one such victim of hatred. She was kidnapped by the army. Till today nobody known where she is. In the name of Islam, many kinds of discrimination, deprivation and downright atrocities are committed on the indigenous People of Chittagong Hill Tracts. This fiction is a human record of such crimes against the native population. Cecilia Thompson, a Human Rights activist from Canada visited Chittagong Hill Tracts for her official work and discovered many incidents, like Kalpana Chakma's kidnapping. She started writing about them, but she could not complete her work. The Army forcibly sent her back from the area.
