Adelaide never asked to time travel.

In fact, she had been content to be a stay-at-home mother who put faith and family first. Now, hurdled back in time, her faith has been put to the ultimate test after losing her entire family. Having miraculously survived the Iroquois raid on her husband's tribe, Addy is more determined than ever to find a way to return to her own time. However, in the interim, she meets a German couple who have left everything to come to this new world and embrace a fresh start. At least that is how George sees it, leading his family on the adventure of a lifetime as he embraces the Native American way of life. Adelaide finds a friend in Gretjen who is also homesick and missing her son.
