Thandi needs new shoes but she knows they cost a lot of money. After thinking fora while, she goes to her grandmother, who helps plan a wayto get the money with a little bit of help from Nosipho, Thandi's doll,and Pepi, her pet rooster. Along the way, Thandi learns that gentle persuasion is sometimes best-and that with the help of friends, everything is possible.
