As happens with all scientific disciplines or those that, in any case, make use of science, medicine also grows more complex every day because we realize with ever greater evidence that apparently 'unsuspected' agents interfere with the mechanisms that regulate the functioning of all living organisms and, obviously, also the human one. For this reason, it is increasingly essential to approach medicine in an interdisciplinary way and with a mind free from preconceptions that are not always justified and that often weigh like a burden.This book is an introduction to nanopathology and nanoecotoxicology, and each chapter is an invitation and an incitement to those who decide to dedicate themselves to deepening the specific topic covered, because so much still remains to be discovered. Many of the pathologies and, above all, the syndromes that appear as novelties are due precisely to those very small foreign bodies, and knowing them is essential to issue correct diagnoses without which no therapy can be effective.
