This study was conducted on integrating fish pond farming with poultry and vegetable on small scale farmers in Gedeo Zone, South Ethiopia. The aims of the study were to identify factors impeding adoptions of integrated farming, to aware and demonstrate target farmers on an integrated farming. The methodology employed was purposive to select kebele and 50% of Woreda experts were selected based on their proficiency in relation to research topic and farmers were selected by PRA. The data was analyzed by both qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results show that, different factors affecting adoption of this integrated farming in the area include lack of training and researches in the area. The net present value of the project at 8.5% discount rate (Developmental Bank of Ethiopian, 2011) is found to be Birr 622 per 0.0224ha of land is acceptable. The overall results of the study revealed that, the integrated pond fish farming with poultry and vegetable was an excellent package for sustainable production, skill development, income generating, empowering rural women, increase use of untapped resource and to create awareness for farmer towards semi-intensive integration.
