Helen is somewhere in the middle of the Kimberley, one of the remotest regions of Australia. She is alone, with no transport, far from everything. She is digging to bury her memoirs, the document that tells why she and her colleagues from the mining exploration team will never come back. But most of all, it tells the story of her life.

Helen was an environmentalist. She couldn’t stand the failure of the environmental movement to save our planet. First, she became an ecoterrorist, then she ended up supporting a mining project in the Kimberley.

The complicated and inconvenient truth about her life is all here, in her memoirs. Helen isn’t digging to hide them. On the contrary, she is digging to make sure they will be found. Helen will never come back, but the story of her life will.
