Image is an inspiring story book where some actual events are joined with fictional characters to help children understand how their differences are not ugliness or brokenness but uniqueness.The use of fictional characters helps children to see how other lives are effected by some of the same life experiences that their lives are challenged by and through their different uniqueness teaches them to look at the positive side in what some has viewed as different.
