This research work has proved that human security's importance has not diminished post 9/11. It also drew a relationship between human security and the national security of two of the most important states in the Middle East region; Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The political dimension of human security has been discussed and investigated in this research work as it is seen by the author as a neglected dimension of human security. The Egyptian revolution of 2011 and the ad-hoc protests in Saudi Arabia are seen as the result of chronicle problems these systems had long suffered from. Among these problems are corruptions, lack of transparency and human rights violations specifically torturing political detainees in those states. The deficiency of the political dimension of human security threatens the stability of the established regimes and could jeopardize the national security of a state. This research work has proved that the security of the state is related to its performance on the political dimension of Human Security. Thus, the decay of a state comes from within.
