This book offers a simplified approach for infection control application targeting junior health care professionals. The book includes 16 chapters covering the updates in basic infection control practices starting by host parasite relationship, common types of hospital acquired infections, infection chain, standard & transmission based precautions. The book ends by a summary of applied measures in critical hospital wards (ICU, NICU& OR) and care bundles that address the evidenced based practices. The 1st edition was published in 2014. It was greatly appreciated from readers.
