Gutpunched by Love or at Least, Something is the debut collection of poems from the writer, Joe Currie. Writing in his own uniquely stark style, Currie explores the moments in life that make us feel as if we've been punched in the stomach, from the light butterflies felt at a new love to the deep pit of loss; from the dull ache of solitude to the gasping pain of being winded.

The world view seen through these poems is raw, undiluted and often bleak but carrying a soft insistence in its undertones of the chance for something better.
