This work deals with the role of women at grassroot democracy with special reference to re-examine the concept of good Governance.Women are the new actors in a system of good Governance especially in rural areas. The constitution of India has resolved the reservation policy to ensure the participation of women at grass root democracy i.e. Panchayat level.
