Winner of the Third Annual Poetry Competition organized by Lugar Comn and the Embassy of Italy in Venezuela (2018). "The jury composed of Vernica Jaff, Alejandro Castro, Alfredo Chacn and Nelson Rivera, after reading the 129 entries, has decided by a simple majority to award the prize to the book Formas de la aridez.

In this work aridity is not only an image, but rather a precisely formal interest: the laconic, minimalist language constitutes a strategy for formalizing a drought which shows a certain porosity with our historical present."
