From the foregoing discussion it can be concluded that, the foliar application of the correct nutrients in relatively appropriate concentration at appropriate stages in crop development contributes significantly to higher yields and improved quality. In Rose, 0.5 % Zn and 0.4 % Fe improves diameter (2.78 cm), fresh weight and vase life (9.47 days) of cut flower. 0.3 % FeSO4 and 0.3 % borax at 15 days interval improve flower diameter, stalk length and vase life (6.67 days) of Gerbera. FeSO. 7H0 (2%) + HBO (2%) + ZnSO. 7HO (2%) 1st spray at 3 leaf stage and 2nd spray at 6 leaf stage increase the vegetative growth, induct early flowering and improve vase life (14.73 days) of Gladiolus cut flower. In Chrysanthemum, 0.75 % ZnSO + 0.75 % FeSO + 0.2% Borax and foliar spray of 0.2% EDTA chelated micronutrient mixture enhanced the growth, yield and vase life (15.82 days) of flower. Foliar spray of Zn and Fe at 0.4 % and H3BO3 0.1% + 0.5 % ZnSO4 + 0.2 % FeSO4 increase diameter and vase life (9.08 days) of Tubrose. In carnation foliar spray of 250 ppm NPK through Sujala (19:19:19) once a week and 6000:4000:2000 ppm NPK improve yield, fresh weight and diameter (7.88 cm) of flower.
