Camille Lemannais has the world at her feet. A recent graduate of Stanford University, she returns home to the Napa Valley to live and work alongside her adoring parents, Christophe and Joy, at their flourishing winery. Camille is a brilliant student, with her father's knowledge of grapes and her mother's head for business. Camille knows that she is exactly where she wants to be, but their happiness is not to last... When tragedy strikes, Camille is bereft but knows she must now care for the heartbroken Christophe. Father and daughter lean on each other for support, until Christophe meets the glamorous Countess de Pantin. Christophe is enchanted by the beautiful Maxine and blind to her many faults, but Camille has her doubts. Maxine sweeps into their lives, bringing change, chaos and cruelty. Camille tells herself that her father's happiness is more important than her own, but when Christophe is involved in a deadly plane crash, her world is turned upside down once more. Now, Maxine threatens to destroy all that Camille has left. Camille knows that it is up to her to protect her parents' precious legacy, but how? Will Camille ever find her own happy ever after?
