It is not uncommon to hear about the emotional or psychological suffering of patients. Assistance and support for patients at the end of their life has never left the healthcare professional without a psychopathological impact. Health professionals are psychologically confronted with the death of others. The discourse is divided on the syndrome of professional exhaustion (Burn out) and the transfer mechanisms, but it is probably very difficult to grasp the various manifestations of the suffering of these caregivers affected by their professional context. The introduction of holistic palliative care support in training curricula in sub-Saharan Africa is recent. On the whole, the therapist sensitized during his training would adjust better to others. Efforts over the past few years have helped in one way or another to improve the technical fields, but there is still more. This book draws the attention of policies or health systems interested in the universal palliative approach to the need to integrate appropriate psychological support.
