Entrepreneurship and SME Research

This volume presents a selection of papers from the Rent X conference in Brussels in 1996. It gives a survey of developments in entrepreneurship and SME research. The authors are from a variety of countries and scientific backgrounds, and they bring together some methodologies and research agendas for the future. The book covers issues including the role of exports in new business formation, the informal investment phenomena, measuring growth, entrepreneurship in Malaysia, multiple ownership and control of SME's. The papers were selected by an international editorial team and include research from Hong Kong, Malaysia, UK, Norway, Ukraine, Brussels, Italy and Sweden.
