This dark romantic thriller, at times salacious, is the story of a desperate woman's search for her missing sister Noot.
Still missing, after four long years, Noot is but a faded memory to her family.
But just where the missing go, especially in a foreign country, is question Kat can no longer answer alone. Her fear is that Noot has become yet another of the stolen girls.
She still hangs onto the hope of finding Noot alive, but needs help, urgently. She has a plan, but it needs a man. And she has one in mind: ex-cop, now a mature student at Manchester University, Robin should suit her just fine. Can she convince him to trust her?
