Each stage of the various knots and procedures described is illustrated. Comprising 11 chapters, the CD-ROM is divided into two main sections - knotting and suturing. Part one topics include nomenclature and fundamental principles of knot tying, suturing and ligature materials, slip knots and intracorporeal knots. Part two discusses such issues as equipment and instrumentation, training, laparoscopic stitch placement and future advances.
