Image processing concerns with the extraction and processing of images from various sources across the globe. Image analysis, a subset of image processing deals with the processing of images and analyzing the images for better understanding. With the advancement in the communication era, sophisticated techniques are available for capturing the images with ease and storing the same across the globe. The mamath increase has resulted in the usage of image processing techniques in various domains ranging from medical to security. As the data is growing anonymously, retrieval of the relevant information within a minimum timestamp has become the most crucial factor of the day. Therefore, methodologies are developed to process the images and extract the search of the interest. However, these retrieval mechanisms are subjected to certain limitations such as illumination, Bad weather, Dynamic Background, Baseline, camera jitter. These limitations hinder the efficiency of the retrieval and also retrieving the relevant image from the thermal camera is also a challenging task. The images from the thermal camera help to have a more clear understanding of the objects of interest.
