The study proposes a new line of investigation into how organizational capacity attributes and climate change adaptation of local communities can help policy makers in addressing issues of decreasing livelihood capital and adaptability to climate change. The general objective of the study is to identify the best organizational attributes that can complement and contribute to governmental and intergovernmental processes that currently shape climate change adaptation strategies in Bangladesh. It is necessary for efficient fund allocation to the organizations that can implement the specific task efficiently and it also assists in developing their organizational capacity. It helps decision makers and donor communities to better understand organizational capacity which is needed to design better strategies for climate change adaptation. Finally, it can protect "development leakage" which means the impediments of development project implementation.
