Luiza territory was affected by the Kamuina Nsapu traditional chieftaincy succession conflicts between 2016-2017 that disarticulated the EPI and affected the health status of children. A two-stage cluster survey analytical cross-sectional study of 210 mothers/caretakers of children aged 12-24 months was conducted in 2018. Immunization completeness was 64.3%. Multivariate analysis showed that: delay to the first vaccine 3 months(p=0.0001), missed opportunities (p=0.0005), lack of mastery of the vaccine schedule and EPI diseases (p=0.0055), waiting more than one hour at the vaccination site (p=0.0055), misconceptions about vaccination (p=0.0139), fear of the occurrence of side effects (p=0.0454), home deliveries (p=0. 0443), non-involvement of fathers (p=0.0363), were significantly associated with immunization incompleteness of children aged 12-24 months in the Luiza health zone. The progress made by the EPI in the LUIZA health zone in the post-conflict period is not evident and remains one of the greatest dissatisfactions in public health.
