National power is one of the most important and emphasized debates among experts in political geography and international relations. In this book, by reviewing the literature and theoretical foundations, the important and influential indicators on the geopolitical weight and national power of countries in nine dimensions (territorial, economic, scientific, cultural, social, political, military, cross-border and space) are counted. The results show that the geopolitical weight and national power of countries can be estimated as the algebraic sum of the positive and negative roles of quantitative and qualitative variables in the form of a comprehensive mathematical model. Also, using the linear scale method, the data can be equalized and in combination, the national power of countries can be measured and evaluated. In this research, the national power measurement model is considered dynamical. By designing special software, there is the possibility of updating the model variables as well as the annual measurement of global and regional power system; the comparative study of power system changes and the spatial distribution pattern of global and regional power.
