Globalization is more than a cross-border economic process. It also includes scientific and technical progress. Scientists, theologians and philosophers answer questions about the effects of rapid global change on people. Is man able to shape change or has he become a helpless object of processes that he himself initiated? What ethical orientations does it need for a meaningful design?
