Dance Appreciation: Exploring Dance History and Performance is a journey through the world of dance focusing on the history of many dance forms, the connection of dance to society, and the human meaning and importance of dance as a living breathing practice. Building on the foundational historic basics of "Who, What, Where, and When," Dance Appreciation dives deeper by asking "Why," allowing the reader to delve into the human reasons that various dance forms exist, followed by the "How," asking the reader to consider how each dance form can be interpreted/applied/deciphered by the reader's own individual experience and life understanding.
