Breaking Out of Pinewood

A wild ride of a 70s coming-of-age tale set in the tiny gossipy mountain town of Pinewood, Colorado. With little guidance from her Mama and Pops, Angela aka Angel figures out early on how to fend for herself-from pinching candy in the local store, to dipping into the register while waitressing at the Go Get 'Em Café. As her desire to escape the small town escalates, she seizes every dicey opportunity with customers and strangers. Along the way, she expands her loyal posse of girlfriends amidst a cast of con men, hustlers, truckers and drifters. Angel's journey, peppered with romantic encounters, Harleys, guns, silk lingerie, cowboy boots and stacks of cash, propels her to devise a risky high-stakes scenario if she wants to finally break out of Pinewood!
