Beyond the Veil

This book uses Omani women as a case study to break down the stereotypical views widely held about Muslim women around the world. It explores how the women of Oman have gained access to education and employment as a form of empowerment. The intended reader/audience for this book include those in primary academic fields such as social sciences, political and human geographers and the general public who would like to learn more about Muslim women in the Middle East.
