In Beauty Exasperated, we follow a drama of two lovers, feelings of longing and loneliness, and a glimpse into intense love that blooms, fades, and evolves through the seasons. The story is told through erasure poems, a poetic form that removes words from an existing text to reveal something new - and, perhaps, unexpected. The story can be understood, enjoyed, and deeply felt, regardless of one's relationship with the original work. Part homage and part excavation, Beauty Exasperated is, above all else, heartbreaking.
