At the Horizons of Modernity

At the Horizons of Modernity, by Canadian scholar Jarett Myskiw, argues that a theory of religion can be constructed upon a close reading of Jrgen Habermas' masterwork The Theory of Communicative Action (1984, 1987). While influential in many diverse fields of scholarly research, Habermas' thought has been relatively neglected in the academic study of religion, especially around the time of the above publication.
