Art and Uncertainty

This book is aimed primarily at readers who find the current narratives of efficiency, strategy, economic self-maximization and planning unsatisfying and unalive. This includes artists and aspiring artists, of course, but also any individuals who feel under-developed, blocked, frustrated. Many so-called quiet quitters who know they have more capacity than their work or lifestyle enhances. Individuals in offices, schools, hospitals, companies. Many who are paralyzed by uncertainty. It is also aimed at professional organizations of the kind where the author mentors business leaders and/or does speaking engagements: large global firms that seek to be more innovative; professional associations that offer continuing professional development; standards and regulatory institutions that need more imaginative ways of foreseeing what rules will or wont work; universities seeking to break down the siloes of their Schools and Departments.
