This work on the analysis of extensive gazing on food-crop production in Noni subdivision, North West Region of Cameroon makes an assess effects on food crop production and on the socio-economic and political aspect of the people of this locality. Random sampling technique, with a total of 120 crop farmers and a corresponding 120 pastoralists were selected from three villages. Primary data collection tools were: structured questionnaire, interview guide, group discussion guides and field observation. Factors such as culture, rural poverty and climatic fluctuation highly promote the practice of extensive grazing in Noni. Targeted croppers are victims of crop destruction by cattle and the effects on livelihoods are so great and most croppers are affected in many sectors including food shortages, interrupted dependent education and increased poverty. With regards to the conflict resolution, croppers prefer the peaceful settlement method with the grazers over their destroyed crops especially on-farm personal agreement because cases handled by government officials are often tilted to favor the rich cattle owners who easily get them corrupted to the detriment of the poor crop farmers.
