The village of Chiddingstone in Kent is an ancient community with roots going back over a thousand years. A History of Chiddingstone brings together in one volume a collection of records covering areas such as the origins of local place names, lists of Parish officials and local families, and sketch maps of fields and settlements, together with notes and historical observations.
