Interpreting Chinese Foreign Policy

This work applies the micro-macro linkage approach to Chinese foreign policy. It examines the processes, situations, and structures of Chinese foreign policy, and analyzes the effect of the international environment and domestic constraints. There is an exploration of the key trends of modernization, nationalism, and regionalism, and a review of the literature and approaches towards Chinese foreign policy. The text is intended for undergraduate and graduate students and scholars of Chinese foreign policy.
