A Thousand Miles from Sicily

Tony (Ray) Raymond is a middle class, middle aged businessman who has never broken the law in his life. When a series of thefts begin to threaten his business and the livelihood of his family he naturally turns to the police. When the police are unable to help him he decides to take the law into his own hands. Little does he know to what depths the criminals will sink and to what frightening lengths he will go to when the balance of his mind is disturbed. Once his psyche is stirred up, the genes from his Italian forefathers begin to surface. It is this instinct that controls his fight-or-flight mode - but Tony Raymond is not for running away. Cameron Hardie is an English writer now living near Bergerac in France. His mother was English, his father was Scottish and his grandparents and great-grandparents were from England, Scotland and Ireland.
